Review: This is less a review of the book and more a critique of the whole show.
I saw this on broadway not long after it opened about two years ago.
This is hands down, no doubt, the absolute worst show I have ever seen.
The original songs are grating to the ears, and Phil Collins' out of date, oddball song writing skills are flaunted like he created anything as mildly successful as Genesis(Hint: He hasn't) and is still a successful artist that produces many wonderful songs (Hint: He's not).
Bottom line, if you want a good book from a good show to grab some vocal pieces from, look elsewhere.
